Mr. Piyush Tainwala is a Chartered Accountant with over three years of post-qualification experience in accounting advisory, financial reporting, and audit. His expertise spans Ind AS, IFRS, and US GAAP, with a focus on GAAP convergence, complex accounting issues, and ERP implementations across SAP, Oracle, and Tally systems.
At SBA Strategy Consulting LLP, he leads the preparation of cost and sales exhibits, contributing to U.S. tariff updates and trade remedy investigations. His experience includes developing accounting memos and advising on IFRS 15/Ind AS 115, IFRS 16/Ind AS 116, IFRS 1/Ind AS 101, and IPO readiness projects.
Before joining SBA, Mr. Tainwala worked with PwC India as a Senior Associate, where he supported multinational clients on complex financial reporting and convergence matters. He began his career at Kailash Chand & Co., Mumbai, gaining extensive experience in internal audits, SOX compliance, and statutory audits for clients including Tata Motors, GIC, and TIFR. His strong foundation in audit, taxation, and compliance continues to reinforce SBA’s expertise in financial and regulatory advisory.
